As the sun slowly shrinks the snowbanks, the museum invites you to celebrate “New Life on the Farm!”
Take part in daily demonstrations and meet new animals in the barns, as spring births are underway. Test your knowledge of aquatic animals with “Get Schooled on Fish: A Fish Menu.” Learn about the characteristics of the museum’s animals by participating in the “Meet the Lambs” and “Meet the Donkeys” demonstrations. Learn all about the cycle of life during the “Artificial Insemination” demonstration. You can even help us spring clean the animals in the “Groom a Calf” demonstration! Children will love listening to a story, followed by a craft.
Be sure to stop by the Demonstration Kitchen during your visit. Learn some facts about eggs, or discover the journey of a cacao bean in “Bean to Bar: Chocolate Taste Testing.” You won’t want to miss the delicious samples!
